Dr. James Frazier
Dr. James Frazier completed his neurosurgical residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital after earning his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Brown University Magna Cum Laude. As a medical student, Dr. Frazier received the Hunterian Medical Student Research Award for his work on interstitial chemotherapy for brain tumors. During his training, Dr. Frazier completed specialized fellowships in neurooncology and radiosurgery.
Dr. Frazier specializes in the comprehensive treatment of a wide variety of intracranial and spinal disorders, including brain and spine tumors, degenerative spine disease and spinal trauma. He also has a special interest in the use of minimally invasive spine techniques. Our practice also exhausts all non-surgical treatments prior to offering surgical interventions. Dr. Frazier is widely published, having authored several peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and abstracts. He is an active member of numerous professional societies, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
